ITU World Junior and U23 Camp
ITU are happy to be able to announce that the 2009 ITU World Junior / U23 Camp will be held in Gold Coast, Australia at the world class Sports Super Centre.

USA Dominate PATCO Championships
The United States swept the men's and women's elite races, grabbed U23 women's gold, and earned a gold and bronze in the junior men's race at the ITU Pan American Triathlon Confederation Championships in Oklahoma City.

Commonwealth Games Venue Tested
Strathclyde Park near Glasgow hosted its first Olympic distance elite race last weekend as the British Triathlon National Championships tested out the proposed venue for the 2014 Commonwealth Games triathlon.

Polyansky Wins In Pontevedra
Russia 's Dmitry Polyansky beat Javier Gómez, the 2008 world champion, in a very tight sprint finish at the weekend's Pontevedra ITU Triathlon Premium European Cup race in Spain. Third place went to Switzerland 's Sven Riederer.

Anti-doping: Negative Results
The ITU is happy to announce that all tests received from the various events so far this quarter have been negative. This includes tests collected at the New Plymouth Continental Cup, South African Long Distance Championships and the Ishigaki World Cup. If National Federations have any results to report, please send them as soon as possible to ITU Headquarters.
