Madrid Race Previews
With the season moving on to Madrid attention turns to Spanish home favourite Javier Gomez. Gomez went through the 2008 World Cup series unbeaten, claiming four victories and a World Championship title before finishing an agonising fourth in Beijing at the Olympics.

Gomez Ready to Shine In Spain
Gomez will be one of a number of athletes wearing a Suunto Comfortbelt during the cycling and run sections of the event. Made possible by Suunto technology, his heart-rate, speed and GPS positioning data will be broadcast live throughout the race and also on the on-demand videos available via www.triathlon.org/TV

Kitzbühel Welcomes The World
After two years of hosting an ITU Triathlon World Cup, Kitzbühel was selected as a venue for the new Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championship Series. Athletes will swim in the beautiful Lake Schwarzsee , cycle against a breathtaking alpine backdrop and run through the gentle hills around the lake.

Looking Forward to London
Helen Jenkins, the reigning women's world champion from Britain , will be amongst the starters for the sixth stop-over of the Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championship Series on 15 August at London 's Hyde Park . Organisers Upsolut are also expecting to welcome more than 2000 amateur triathletes to race in the footsteps of the elite field.
