TBB Heats up the racing in Dijon

Dijon, France - The home of the infamous mustard hosted an exciting race this past weekend, with TBB Tereza Macel capturing the win in the women's race.
The Dijon triathlon had an interesting format of a 3km swim, 85 km bike, and 20 km run. The French triathlon clubs were all out in force, dressed in some very flashy and snazzy team race kits. It was a super well organized, smoothly run event, around a small lake just at the edge of the town.
The swim was two loops, wetsuit swim. The bike a two loop 85 km course, with a bit of everything - flat fast sections, some rolling hills, and a longer steeper climb as well as a fast long descent. The run was 2 loops around the lake, very flat and packed with spectators. The grey, overcast conditions made for fast racing, as it can apparently be very hot otherwise at this race.
Team TBB was represented by Tereza Macel, who used the race as preparation for her next Ironman, dominated the women's race from start to finish. LC Langit, who, after stalking second place for most of the run, simply ran out of pavement and finished a solid third place in her first European race, along with Steve Waite who was dusting off the cobwebs after coming back from injury. There was no Dijon mustard in the race goodie bags, but there were some cool arms warmers, which LC is going to use as leg warmers instead!
