ITU RELEASE: Tiszaujvaros Heats Up for ITU Triathlon World Cup
The Rise of Riveros
At 21 years of age, Riveros first became recognised at an ITU Sport Development camp in Edmonton, Canada, in 2004. Later that year she posted one of the fastest run splits at the ITU Triathlon Junior World Championships in Gamagori, Japan, to finish ninth aged just seventeen.

Tiszaujvaros Heats Up
For the 13th consecutive year, the northern Hungarian town of Tiszaujvaros comes alive as it welcomes the ITU Triathlon World Cup this Sunday. One of the longest running world cups in ITU history is a favourite for many top athletes for the week-long party atmosphere and the generous crowd support.

German Paratriathlon Championships

The next race of the paratriathon race circuit is at the London Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championship Series where 43 paratriathletes are set to compete.

Anti-doping: TUE part II
Last week, the topic of Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) was discussed. Since then there have been a number of questions regarding Age Groupers and the use of TUEs for the upcoming Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World Championships Series Grand Final. This is to confirm that Age Groupers are allowed to apply for retroactive TUEs for this event. Therefore, nothing needs to be done at this time.
Elite athletes are reminded that there will be an informational session on whereabouts during the London Elite Athlete's Briefing and there will be an opportunity to sign up for ADAMS training on Friday, August 14, 2009.
