Anti-doping: Report Deadline Soon

All National Federations and Event Organisers should send all of their test results and doping control forms to ITU Headquarters by October 31, 2009. According to the ITU Anti-doping Rules, this is the responsibility of every NF and EO who has had in and out of competition tests completed during the 2009 season.

All tests should be reported, regardless of whether or not the tests were negative or produced an Adverse Analytical Finding. This will allow ITU to have an accurate number of tests done around the world during 2009. The reporting should include the sample numbers, athlete's names, date of sample, in or out of competition, location, laboratory used, whether or not it was urine or blood and the result of the test, if available.

If no tests were done, please report that too so we can see what we can do to rectify the situation in the future.

If you have any questions about ITU's Anti-doping program, please contact
Leslie Buchanan at leslie.buchanan@triathlon.org.
