Winter Triathlon News
Norway this year will play host
to both the European and World Championships
Winter Triathlon events. Lygna
will play host to the European Championships from
February 5-7 and the World
Championships will take place at Sessvollmoen
(Eidsvoll) one week later from February
12-14. Both events have websites with
details which will be updated regularly.

The
Hong Kong Sports Institute is looking for an assistant triathlon coach to help
design,
plan and coordinate training and
competitive programs for triathletes in
Hong Kong.

Uruguay hosts ITU Technical Seminar
Eight countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador,
Paraguay,
Peru and Uruguay sent technical officials and event
organizers to participate in
the ITU Technical Education Level II
Seminar in Uruguay.

The "Transfer of Knowledge" (TOK) document was presented to the
Local
Organizing Committee of the Dextro Energy Triathlon - ITU World
Championship
Series Grand Final to be held in Budapest, Hungary in
2010.

Anti-doping: 2010 Prohibited List Update
The
ITU Anti-doping Team would like to call attention to an advisory that was
issued recently that deals with the changes of the status of the Beta-2
Agonists Change Status on the 2010 Prohibited List.
The
following advisory is
from the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) but is relevant to many
of our international athletes.
